Tenacious D Coming to a Campus Near You
Rock D Vote Tour Officially On Sale
Tenacious D, the American comedy rock duo formed in Los Angeles in 1994, is hitting the road for their Rock D Vote Tour. The tour will see the band playing at college campuses across the country in support of voter registration and participation. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
Tenacious D, founded by actors Jack Black and Kyle Gass, is known for their satirical and often hilarious songs about rock and roll, love, and life. The duo has released four studio albums and has toured extensively throughout their career. In addition to their music, Black and Gass have also starred in several films and television shows, including the cult classic "Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny."
"We're excited to be hitting the road for the Rock D Vote Tour," said Black in a statement. "We believe that voting is one of the most important things you can do as a citizen, and we want to do our part to encourage people to register and vote. We're going to be playing all our hits, and we're going to have some special guests join us along the way. So come on out and rock the vote with Tenacious D!"
The Rock D Vote Tour will kick off on September 10 at the University of California, Berkeley. The tour will then travel to campuses across the country, including the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Michigan. The tour will wrap up on October 20 at the University of California, Los Angeles.
