A jury in Idaho has found Chad Daybell guilty of first-degree murder in the killings of his late wife, Tammy Daybell, and his two stepchildren, Joshua "JJ" Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 17

The verdict comes after a nearly two-month trial in which prosecutors presented evidence that Daybell planned and carried out the murders in order to collect insurance money and be with his mistress, Lori Vallow.

Daybell faces life in prison without parole. He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 22.

The case has drawn national attention due to its bizarre circumstances. Lori Vallow, Daybell's mistress, is also charged with murder in the case and is awaiting trial.
